A1299 Fructosyltransferase from Aspergillus oryzae as a processing aid
Overview
Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has assessed an application to permit the use of an immobilised fructosyltransferase (EC 2.4.1.9) from a non-genetically engineered strain of Aspergillus oryzae as a processing aid and has prepared a draft food regulatory measure. This fructosyltransferase would be used in the manufacture of short-chain fructooligosaccharides from sucrose.
FSANZ has provided public notification and welcomes your submission to assist with consideration of the application.
