A1308 2′-FL from GM Escherichia coli W in infant formula products

Overview

FSANZ has assessed an application made by Kyowa Hakko Bio Co., Ltd to permit the use of 2′-fucosyllactose produced from a genetically modified Escherichia coli W as a nutritive substance in infant formula products. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure. 

FSANZ has provided public notification and welcomes your submission to assist with consideration of the application.
