A1339 - 2′-FL, 3-FL, LNT, 3′-SL, and 6′-SL from Escherichia coli BL21 for use as nutritive substances in infant formula products

Overview

FSANZ has assessed an application made by Chr. Hansen A/S to permit the voluntary use of 2′-FL, 3-FL, LNT, 3′-SL, and 6′-SL produced using genetically modified strains of Escherichia coli BL21, alone or in combination, as nutritive substances in infant formula products. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure. 

FSANZ has provided public notification and welcomes your submission to assist with consideration of the application.
