Application A1302 - Food derived from insect-protected corn line MZIR260
Overview
FSANZ has assessed an application made by Syngenta Australia Pty Ltd to amend the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to permit the sale and use of food derived from a new food produced using gene technology: corn line MZIR260. This corn line has been genetically modified for protection against insect pests. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure.
FSANZ has provided public notification and welcomes your submission to assist with consideration of the application.
