A1310 - Food derived from insect-protected soybean line MON94637

Overview

FSANZ has assessed an application made by Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd to amend the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to permit the sale and use of food derived from a new food produced using gene technology: soybean line MON94637. This soybean line has been genetically modified for protection against insect pests. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure. 

FSANZ has provided public notification and welcomes your submission to assist with consideration of the application.
