Call for information: Nutrition Labelling - Health Star Rating and Nutrition Information Panel

Overview

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) is progressing work on nutrition labelling to better support consumers to make informed healthy food choices.  

As requested by Australian and New Zealand food ministers, FSANZ is undertaking:

• preparatory work to inform future decision-making on mandating the front-of-pack Health Star Rating (HSR) system
• a holistic review of the Nutrition Information Panel (NIP).  

FSANZ has provided public notification of this call for information.

FSANZ invites and welcomes information and evidence to help inform our work on the HSR system and the NIP. Your contribution at this early stage of the projects will support our assessment of the available evidence.

Please refer to the documents and information provided when preparing your response. Once you begin, you can save your progress and continue at another time. Your response must be submitted before the closing date of 17 January 2025 at 6pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).
