A1342 - Beta-casein protein preparation from GM Komagataella phaffii
Overview
FSANZ has assessed an application made by Eden Brew Pty Ltd to amend the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code to permit the use of a beta-casein protein preparation (BCPP1) from a genetically modified strain of Komagataella phaffii as an ingredient in a wide range of foods. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure.
FSANZ has provided public notification and welcomes your submission to assist with consideration of the application.
