A1345 - Dextransucrase from Bacillus subtilis (gene donor: Streptococcus salivarius) for use as a processing aid
Overview
FSANZ has assessed an application made by Danisco Australia Pty Ltd to permit the use of enzyme dextransucrase (EC 2.4.1.5) as a processing aid in the production of oligosaccharides and polysaccharides to reduce sucrose content and improve texture in foods containing sucrose. FSANZ has prepared a draft food regulatory measure.
FSANZ has provided public notification and welcomes your submission to assist with consideration of the application.
