Initial stakeholder input: Development of an Australian National Campylobacter Action Plan.

Overview

Completion time: 10 minutes

FSANZ, on behalf of the Food Regulation System, is requesting initial input from a broad range of stakeholders to inform the development of an Australian National Campylobacter Action Plan.

The Action Plan’s primary purpose is to reduce domestically acquired campylobacteriosis, but needs to be supported by additional outcomes that describe how the system is improving over time.

The work has only just begun bringing together the information to help shape future recommendations for the Action Plan. At this stage, we are not seeking detailed metrics or proposals. Instead, we are interested in your views on:

  • what outcomes matter most,
  • where progress would make the biggest difference, and
  • what types of actions or signals of progress are realistic and useful at a national level.

Your input today will help shape ideas for the Action Plan. These ideas will be tested and refined with stakeholders as the work progresses. Responses will be aggregated and de-identified for use in any public reports or summaries. To participate, you will consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information for these purposes.
